Chaplain Aide

Current Troop 98 Chaplain Aide:

Seth S.

Duties:

• Assists Troop Chaplain in Troop religious services.

• Promotes religious emblems programs.

• Helps Scouts to remember that a Scout is reverent.

Qualifications:

• Appointed by the SPL with the SM's consent.

• First Class rank or higher.

• Be a member of the Troop for at least six months.

• Have attended at least on long-term camp.

• Demonstrate consistent attendance at Troop meetings and monthly campouts.

• Demonstrate active progress toward the next rank or earn additional merit badges.

• Agree to attend District or Council-level training courses designed to help him serve in his office.

• Scoutmaster(s) can amend the qualifications for this position at anytime.
