Troop Quartermaster

Current Troop 98 Quartermaster:

Duties:

• Responsible for Troop supplies and equipment.

• Keep an inventory of Troop equipment.

• Assure that Troop equipment is in good condition.

• Inspect gear for damage and cleanliness after each use.

• Suggests when items need to be purchased or replaced.

Qualifications:

• Appointed by the SPL with the SM's consent.

• First Class rank of higher.

• Be a member of the Troop for at least six months.

• have attended at least one long-term camp.

• Demonstrate consistent attendance at Troop meetings and montly campouts.

• Demonstrate active progress toward the next rank or earn additional merit badges.

• Agree to attend District or Council-level training courses designed to help him serve in his office.

• Reports needs to the Outdoor/Activities Chairman.

• Scoutmasters can amend the qualifications for this position at anytime.
