Troop Committee Chaplain

Current Troop 98 Troop Committee Chaplain:

Mr. Woolsey

Duties:

• Provide a spiritual tone for Troop meetings and activities.

• Give guidance to the Chaplain Aide.

• Promote regular participation of each member in the activities of his Church.

• Visit homes of Scouts in time of sickness or need.

• Give spiritual counseling when needed or requested.

• Encourage Boy Scouts to earn their appropriate religious emblems.

• Provide opportunities for Boy Scouts to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and their fellow Scouts.

• Participates in Boards of Review (see BSA Advancement Guidelines Book for good questions to ask).

Qualifications:

• Must be registered with the BSA as an adult leader.

• Must be a parent of a boy in the Troop.

• He is appointed and approved by the Troop Committee.
