Troop 98 Troop Committee Outdoor/Activities Chairman:
Mr. Stephens
Duties:
-
Supervise and
help procure camp equipment.
-
Work with
Quartermaster on inventory, storage, and proper maintenance of
Troop equipment.
-
Help in securing
permission to use camping sites .
-
Serve as
transportation coordinator.
-
Encourage
monthly outdoor or special activities.
-
Promotes the
National Camping Award.
-
Promotes,
through family meetings, attendance at Troop campouts, camporees,
and summer camp, in order to reach the goal of an outing per
month.
-
Participates in
Boards of Review (see BSA Advancement Guidelines Book for good
questions to ask).
Qualifications:
-
Must be
registered with the BSA as an adult leader.
-
Must be a parent
of a boy in the Troop.
-
He is appointed
and approved by the Troop Committee.
